Just a quick tidbit for today. Check this out, designers such as Gucci, Prada, Fendi etc… are producing Ipod cases! This is news to me, though it may not be to some. Here is the thing, the cases cost more than the Ipod in some instances. So, for those of you who had enough money to purchase Ipods when they were hot off the press, to accompany it, you can now purchase a designer case…hot off the press.
Here we have your Gucci case. For some reason, it is not that attractive to me, other than the fact that it is a Gucci, of course. It could be the cost that is not attractive - 230 big ones.
I don’t quite get this one. Why do we need to carry five Ipods again? Confused. It looks like an old Mary Kay case that the women who came to your door for makeovers used to carry. Didn’t get a price on this one, but whatever the cost, I am not so sure I’d splurge. And to think, it’s a Fendi!
Here is Prada’s take on the Ipod case, which I think is the most tasteful. It isn’t out there and the openings for the screen and scroll menu make it extremely functional. If I owned an Ipod, I might think of purchasing this one! Price on this one…not too far from the Gucci - 215.00. Worth it for a technological toy that will most likely be surpassed with the next big deal within a couple of years? You decide.
