here comes the rain

Yesterday started out as lovely as can be; bright, sunny skies and warm. Fate would have it that by the time the work day ended, it was dark, rainy and had gotten quite a bit colder outside. Where I live, the season of spring is famous for these sorts of drastic changes and I don’t expect that the rainy days will go anywhere soon. One good thing did come out of this weather shift and that was that while running my errands, I saw the cutest little girl in the most adorable pair of rain boots! This got me thinking - shouldn’t everyone take it upon themselves to stock up on some fashionable rain gear?
In the way of raincoats, I absolutely love this Andrew Marc trench rain coat. The color is called poppy and it could seriously stop traffic. The bright hue of the shade is perfect for putting some pizzazz into those rainy spring days.
If pizzazz isn’t exactly your thing, you could always go for the classic black rain coat like this Adrienne Landau. Can’t go wrong with classic black and it doesn’t hurt that the coat could dress up any jeans/top combination.
I have been seeing the rain boot making a comeback this season and not just on little girls either.
