bold bangs

You know how it is, you read about a trend and then all of the sudden you begin to notice it is everywhere. You have to wonder, were these people sporting this trend before you became aware of it and you just didn’t notice because you were un-informed; or did they just become aware themselves and the trend is really that huge? The answer to that question I am sure we will never know but I have to say that I just had one of these experiences this past week. While browsing on of my favorite trend/fashion websites, INStyle, I came across the new trend of going with a “bold bang.” After scanning the images and reading the piece
, I remembered that Anne Hathaway sported the bold bang in The Devil Wears Prada (loved it, by the way!) and that her character may have possibly started the whole trend…interesting. And that was the end of it. Two days later, I walk into my office just like any other day and see a co-worker rounding the corner with, you guessed it, a fresh new cut featuring the bold bang look. I told her that I loved it and she said had expressed to her stylist she wanted a small bang and she ended up with the bold bang. I told her, no worries and shared with her my education from INStyle just to reassure her that it is indeed a stylish cut. Two days later, I met up with a friend who I only see a few times a month and she really had the bold bangs going on. I mean, she was sporting them proud! And why shouldn’t she be so excited? They did look great, very trendy. So, if you are looking to appear fresh, in the moment and very up on “what’s hot,” you might want to go for bold bangs, it seems everyone else has!
