Thanks to a fellow blogger over at The Bag Blog, I was introduced to this new fashion blog that is fantastic. It is called Fashionista and I like it because while it informs the reader of what is hot in designer fashion, it also provides you with little tidbits like do-it-yourself fashion projects. It is down-to-earth and fabulous at the same time! An example: this DIY project that involves you designing and creating your version of the very hot Balenciaga “must-have scarf” at a fraction of the cost!

I love the approach they take of high-end fashion being an element that everyone should be able to appreciate no matter what their social status/income. I highly recommend you check them out and give one of their DIY projcets a go! You never know, you could end up summoning your inner fashion designer after all!
