summer shades
April 24th, 2007
The days are getting warmer and warmer and many minds are fixated on finding the perfect pair of shades for these upcoming spring and summer months. I recently picked up a pair of Nine West sunglasses at a local department store out of sheer desperation. I had a favorite pair of sunglasses that had lasted me to years and managed to still be fashionable, but sadly lost them when I left them in a shopping cart at a Target store. I didn’t even make it out of the store before I had realized that I left them and when I saw that my cart was still where I had left it at the end of the checkout line, I thought for sure they’d still be there. Imagine my surprise when I came upon the cart and they were nowhere to be seen…and then I see the checkout girl staring at me. A young, fashionable looking cashier who I am still certain snagged them the minute I headed out of the store. Well, it took me a while to get over them but the fact is they are gone and I do enjoy my new Nine West pair. In browsing, I found some fabulous sunglasses that you might consider purchasing…should you loose yours to a Target cashier:

The aviator glasses are still going strong from being in last season and I just love this pair from Nine West. I actually tried them on but found that I need a pair of shades that will not stick in my hair once I put them up on my head. It was a bummer to have to choose functionality over style! I think they are just too cute and very Robert Redford.

With the animal prints being in this season, this pair of plastic frame leopard print shades from Urban Oufitters are the perfect addition to any stylish collection of spring/summer accessories. And with them only setting you back $18.00, you can be sure and incorporate such a trendy pair into your wardrobe with ease.

These adorable brown framed D&G sunglasses are by far my faves! I love that the frames are black (I have this thing with being able to see my eyes through the lens - looks beady!). And the rich chocolate on the frames paired with the funkiness of the animal print and sparkling logo are perfect! Actually, check out this sunglass superstore where I found these and you will be sure to find a snazzy pair in no time!
