I hate it when I am not quite as au fait to a fashion staple that so many others are! Upon seeing the cutest little summer shoe done by Marc Jacobs that was a simple flat made of rubber (I know, but trust me, they are adorable), offered in the sweetest colors, I became hip to the fact that they are pa
rt of a shoe line that Jacobs released back in the late nineties, called Mouse shoes! They are so incredibly fun, girly and light that they are just great for summer! Of course, I googled them when I read in Harper’s Bazaar that this line has been in existence for so long and sure enough women have been loving their Mouse shoes in many different mediums including leather, patent, velvet and now rubber for years! I am definitely going to run out and snag up a pair of the rubber Mouse shoes for this summer the minute they become available and if anyone asks, of course I am going to insinuate that I have been well acquainted with this fabulous line since…oh, about 1999!
