Fall ‘07 Fashion Firsts
May 18th, 2007
I was one happy camper this Mother’s Day! Although, I will forever cherish all the handmade treasures my babies have showered me with, I think the dropping hint after hint really motivated my husband to partake in the Mother’s Day Mayhem this year. It took many coy innuendoes that were not much short of whacking him in the head with the picture, but all my hard work paid off when I unwrapped my stunning novacheck Burberry tote; needless to say that I was tickled pink with excitement. I just can’t wait to have my next brunch with the gals; I know… I’m so bad, but half the fun is having someone else recognize your impeccable taste, right? The best part of the whole thing is that with this bag by my side I can double dip into Spring/Summer and Fall 07 fashion. The novacheck with the different hues of brown go fabulously to compliment the neutral shade trend this Summer. And exactly which Fall can you remember that plaid has not hit the runways! Gucci awed Milan with its luxe pieces giving plaid a whole new spin with
the Fall 07’s hottest colors thrown into the mix. Diana Moldovan is sporting a marvelous plaid pencil skirt with a Purple Wine shade incorporated into the pattern; paired perfectly with a high necked top of the same shade and tied together with a cute jacket and a chic belt. Besides Purple Wine, Burnt Ochre was another favorite shade for the Gucci collection that had popped up on Pantone’s color report for Fall 07
fashion. Other designers were not far behind in the game, though, D&G flaunted each color scheme with flying colors, literally. The Cashmere Rose, Stargazer, and Lemon Curry hues were the prominent colors in D&G’s collection when it hit Milan’s runways. In no way or shape will this Fall even be remotely bleak with fashion this bold hitting the streets!
