Birthday Drama

June 24th, 2007

Shopping has been my thing for as long as I can remember, but it feels less like time spent in leisure and much more like a chore when you’re shopping for another.  I am one of those gift givers that select a gift that the gift receiver will be happy to receive; so it is important to me that I find the perfect thing.  So, the situation- my cousin is turning twenty-one next week and I have been having one heck of a time finding what I want to send her to celebrate this special day.  Well, that’s mostly what this is all about, except that I also have another cousin who is always trying to out do my gifts, and frankly I am tired of it.  It sounds childish, but then again I am a type A personality so competing is apart of who I am!  I know my cousin well enough to safely say that she is an ultra-fem, fashion saavy chic so something to do with primping would be perfect, but then arose the question: what?  Like this wasn’t enough, I forgot to mention that she is from Whale Island, United Kingdom.  So, I sought through a mess of options ranging from a spa kit all the way to a sheek ensemble.  Nothing was strikingly appealing to me until I was surfing the net one afternoon, and I stumbled into a gorgeous Roberto Cavalli Satchel.

I knew immediately that this was what I was looking for.  The smell of an authentic Roberto Cavalli especially in such a darling color will have her whipped!  There is no way that I can be out done this year.  The best part of the entire scenario is that I was able to buy the bag at a completely reasonable price at www.dpetruzzi.com and have it shipped directly to her; she will be so surprised, of course that is not to undermine the importance of winning!
