Layering Power

So, every which way I look it has been all about people wearing layers! They all must have taken some major tippers from Glamour Mag lately. I’m not so sure that they all are usable, though, because I’ve seen some unique looks that aren’t too street savvy.
I am totally crushing over the sheek looks of Jen Aniston and Cameron Diaz. These lux fashionistas sport trends that are all too cute for chics who have a clue on style but aren’t too big on plunging into tricky trends.
The cute button up with a cami under the sweater coat is too posh.
Cameron always looks flawless. But, she really outdid herself this time; I love the cardigan and camisole combo. It gives her the air of sexiness and sophistication! The short sleeve cardigan is perfect for work with a pair of slacks or for a brunch with the gals if paired to a cute fluttery skirt and under the arm tote; something like this D&G Felt tote would be perfect.
Doesn’t she look a little too pirate-y for today’s world? I think Capital Jack Sparrow might be looking for this vest back!
Masculine meets feminine is all the rave right now! But, this is a bit much I think; it is not frame flattering for anyone.
So, I wanna know would you wear it?
